DinnDinn is a mobile app available on iPhone and Android. DinnDinn is a young startup founded by Jeremy Markham and Kyler Juckins. They want to allow users to share their food tastes by taking pictures of their dishes. The workflow is simple, a customer is tasting a dish in a restaurant :

• The customer takes a picture of the dish using the app.
• Customers can specify if they liked it or not and name it. They can also write a description and tag the dish.
• The app will offer a list of nearby restaurants according to the customer's position. The user can choose the location where the picture was taken.
• Finally, users can share their review with their friends.

For this project, I built a REST API using Yii, a lightweight PHP framework based on the MVC pattern. Both mobile app and CMS can leverage this API to modify MySQL databases. This app has been developed using Appcelerator Titanium. It's a cross-platform mobile development framework which can deploy an app, written in Javascript, on several devices (iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc.).

Pin2Sell is a Social Commerce web app. It allows anyone to sell anything on Pinterest, the trendy social network. It is simple and intuitive. The user fills the form with a product name, a picture of the product, its price and a Paypal account. Then, users can choose the Pinterest board where they want to pin the product on. Pinterest users can buy the product on Paypal by clicking on the pin.

This was my final academic project for my M.S. I led a team of 5 students that worked in partnership with Alti, an IT services company. The goal was porting MAP, an Alti app, on mobile devices. MAP is an internal app that allows to manage timesheets, absences and expenses of employees and managers. Its current UI could not fit on mobile devices, we streamlined it while improving ergonomics. We designed functional and ergonomic wireframes before developing a web mobile prototype using ASP .NET MVC3 and jQuery Mobile.

ASFOCREO is an organization that aims to ease company transfers (SME - SMI...) by training buyers and sellers and following them along the process. This project is composed of a website and its integrated CMS.

3D Map Studios

3D Map Studios is an academic project. 3D modeling with detailed terrain surface elevation models assists urban planners and municipal managers to create a model and visualize the urban space in three dimensions. They need to analyze territory evolution: how the city has grown during the past century; where are appeared the residential and industrial areas? To do this, they study this evolution over different urban maps. This work is done manually by a graphic designer who creates the 3D environnement and makes a video, but this work is tedious.

As Lead Developer and Project Manager of a four student team, we built a software prototype that allows to create and visualize 3D urban landscapes. Users provide a heightmap of a city or area along with a set of urban maps of the same area. Then, the software will build a 3D model of the area and perform a morphing between the maps in order to show the urbanism evolution over time. Users can move in this 3D environment (first person view) and record their movements in a video.
